General Rules

Applies to every forum on this site, as well as the PM's, Profil Character sheets and Gallery comments.


1.1: While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts, unless it's fun. Our decision is final in these matters.
Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such. Doing this to gain points or ranks will get you banned.
1.2: Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count, rank or points is not allowed.

2.1: Advertising and spamming is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.
2.2: Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. For style changes and general 'how-to' questions this should be atleast 12 hours. For specific troubleshooting issues, use 6 hours as a guideline.

3.1: We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate our community standards.
The Blackpen team (and/or Admin) shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
3.2: Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed. This is not 4chan, after all.

4.1: Each member is allowed ONE login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
4.2: While we are quite happy to have constructive comparative conversations about other guilds or groups, we will not tolerate blatant adverts or the sort of "ooh look, another forum board" threads. Also, we would appreciate it if you refrain from blatant bashing of our board. Other boards are fine.
4.3: We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice, mods are awesome.
4.4: Making 2 (or more) account so that you can "thank" youself and gain rep(or spam points) is strictly forbidden (see 4.1). This will result in ip-ban.

5: This site is a English/Swedish site. Some of what you can read here might be in swedish, but copy & paste into http://translate.google.com/# and you can understand.
It's perfectly fine ignoring threads that's in Swedish and it is also okay to post/answer in english (unless the topic of the thread forbids it.)

6.1: Posts discussing moderator actions are also not allowed. Talk about Admin all you want.
Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
6.2: You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.
6.3: You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests, Unless it is our own.
6.4: Support emails should be considered to be confidential information. Support emails posted in the forums will be deleted.

6.5: We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules, as access to our support forums are a privilege and not a right. A banned customer is still entitled to support from the support system.

7.1: You are not allowed to spam posts on our forum for points, you are not allowed to spam, period.
7.2: Using the PM system to spam for points is not allowed.
7.3: We reserve all right to dismiss your request to use your points.

8: Every part of the these forumes may have thier own set rules, which will never override the general rules. If you claim you read these rules but didn't see the others, we reserve all right to ban you.
